Before Construction Begins 


Here at the ACM Group, our “group” consists of many different experienced professionals, including licensed engineers and designers. As we’ve created many commercial projects in the past, we know how to work together, coordinating the design/engineering phase with all involved parties, including you. 


We put together a comprehensive plan submittal package so that it can be officially reviewed. When there are revisions, we coordinate those on the plans with our expert engineers and architects. 


The amount of preparation a commercial project requires before construction is far more vast than most realize. We can take care of all of it for you. For example, we prepare a full and complete budget analysis report that’s based on estimated costs. That way, you know what everything is going to cost ahead of time. 


By that same token, we also prepare a project schedule. This isn’t something vague - it’s detailed. In fact, it has clear milestones for each phase of the project. That way, all parties involved can see how it’s going as it’s going. 


Taking Care of the Important Details 


In our capacity as commercial project management professionals, we’ve developed relationships with many quality contractors. To that end, we can solicit and obtain each contractor’s bid. Along the way, we clearly outline scopes of work for each trade contractor as well. 


Any construction permits, be they city or count, you can leave those to us, too. We can obtain all of them for your project. Additionally, throughout the construction of the project, we can also schedule and meet with city inspectors as well as any and all other regulating agencies. We see this as one more way that we can make the process easier on you, the project owner. You shouldn’t have to worry about these details. Instead, you should have the peace of mind that comes from knowing they're handled by the pros. 


Once Construction Starts 


Everything mentioned in the prior section is necessary for construction. That said, once construction commences, we are, quite literally, just getting started. To that end, we know how to make adjustments when necessary. To put it bluntly, we have been doing this for a long time. So, we know how to update and make changes when it’s necessary. 


Throughout your project, we oversee scheduling and project progress for each trade involved with your commercial project. Additionally, we update scheduling and budget forecasts on a biweekly basis, so that we can make sure that everything is running as smoothly as it should. 


You’ll be involved with this as much as you would like to be as the project owner. Indeed, we can hold in-person or even online biweekly progress meetings. That way, you know exactly how the project is progressing as well as where we are right now. 


We keep on top of the contractors, too. For example, we meticulously review contractor invoicing and verify progress corralled with the proper payment amount. We also process all contractor change orders and, when the time comes, we prepare and process their final payments, too. 


Beyond that, we document and administer warranty programs and obtain the final occupancy permit, too. 


This all may sound like a lot (and, indeed, it’s just some of the services we provide for your commercial project) but, when we meet with you, we’ll break it all down for you. We always believe in open and transparent communication between you, the project owner, and our staff is crucial for not just successful project management but for the ultimate completion of the project.
